Receptionist/Administrative Assistant

Description:

Greets clients and telephone callers, ascertains their needs, relays information, directs them to the proper resources, and provides administrative support for the Institute’s programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Handles all incoming telephone calls, greets all visitors, and directs them to the appropriate resource
  • Handles the registration and documentation of all immigration and refugee resettlement cases
  • Assists with the collection of service fees
  • Assists with maintaining and organizing all aspects of the office environment to ensure a professional image
  • Assists with administrative support
  • Performs other functions as delegated by the President of the Institute

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma
  • Customer service skills
  • Ability to do multi-tasking
  • Computer, data entry, and word processing skills
  • Bilingual skills and the ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures
