Interpretation Training

We’re pleased to announce that we will be hosting our second interpreter training seminar of 2024 on September 20th. This fall’s seminar is a three-hour course that will be held at the IIW office (1110 N Dr Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Milwaukee) from 9 AM to noon. The seminar is taught in English, so all spoken-language interpreters are welcome.
The registration fee is $75.00 per participant. We are offering scholarships for select refugee languages, such as Arabic, Burmese, Dari, Farsi, Karen, Nepali, Pashto, Somali, and Swahili. If you are interested in applying for a scholarship, please indicate this on the registration form. The registration fee is waived for interpreters on IIW’s interpreter roster.

For organization representatives who have contacted me regarding more than one interested participant, please have each participant fill out the registration form individually.
