I started with IIW as an intern while attending the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Global Studies-Security. I have been working in the Matching Grant program since May of 2024. I love that my job gives me the opportunity to continue learning more about the world every day and to help refugees as they integrate into our community.

Hobbies/Interesting Facts: I love traveling, dancing, playing sports, and drinking boba. I enjoy experiencing and learning about other cultures especially through music, dance, food, and getting to know people. I was fortunate to do this while studying for my degree both in Costa Rica and in Ghana.

Languages Spoken: English, Spanish, and I took university classes in basic Arabic and Twi, but haven’t retained as much as I would like!
