My journey at IIW started in September 2023 as a student intern. During my internship, I helped different departments with their daily work in the office and learned a lot about how the organization runs.

After my internship ended in December 2023, I was thankful to be offered a part-time job in January 2024 as a Preferred Communities (PC) Intensive Case Management Assistant. In this role, I supported case managers and helped provide services to clients, especially new refugees and people in need.

From January to the end of July 2024, I continued to grow in my role and took on more responsibilities. In August 2024, I was proud to be offered the position of PC Program Manager. In this role, I now manage both parts of the PC program PC GAP and PC ICM (Intensive Case Management) along with my wonderful team of case coordinators. Together, we work hard to make sure our clients get the support and services they need. I’m proud of how far I’ve come and excited to keep making a positive impact through my work at IIW.

Hobbies/Interesting Facts: In my free time, I enjoy traveling, exploring new foods through cooking and dining out, and spending time with my family and friends.
