Abby graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Madison with a Bachelor of Social Work degree in 2014 and went on to earn her Master of Social Work from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee in 2015. For eight years, she worked as a social worker at Children’s Wisconsin, serving both as a child welfare case manager and a hospital social worker.

After several years in the field, Abby decided to pursue a legal education at Marquette University Law School, where she focused on public interest law. During her second year of law school, she began working at the International Institute of Wisconsin (IIW). In 2024, she joined the IIW team as a full-time staff attorney, and in 2025, she stepped into the role of Director of Legal Services.

Hobbies/Interesting Facts: Abby and her husband recently bought a 108-year-old home that they are working to fix up.
