I’ve dedicated my professional career to supporting and advocating for underrepresented individuals and families. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Madison with a Bachelor of Social Work degree in 2014, and went on to earn my Master of Social Work from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee in 2015.
For eight years, I worked as a social worker at Children’s Wisconsin, where I served both as a child welfare case manager and a hospital social worker. Those experiences shaped my deep commitment to serving vulnerable populations.
After several years in the field, I decided to pursue a legal education at Marquette University Law School, where I focused on public interest law. During my second year of law school, I began working at the International Institute of Wisconsin, where I discovered a strong passion for working with refugees and immigrants.
In 2024, I joined the IIW team as a full-time staff attorney, and in 2025, I stepped into the role of Director of Legal Services. While our legal team handles a wide range of immigration cases, I focus primarily on working with the Afghan population and filing asylum applications for individuals who have experienced persecution.
Hobbies/Interesting Facts: My husband and I recently bought a 108-year-old home that we are working to fix-up!
