Andi began with IIW  as an intern while attending the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Global Studies–Security. She has been working in the Matching Grant program since May 2024. She values that her role provides the opportunity to continue learning about the world every day while helping newcomers integrate into the community.

Hobbies/Interesting Facts: Andi loves traveling, dancing, playing sports, and drinking boba. She enjoys experiencing and learning about other cultures, especially through music, dance, food, and connecting with people. She was fortunate to explore these interests while studying for her degree in both Costa Rica and Ghana.

Languages Spoken: English, Spanish, and I took university classes in basic Arabic and Twi, but haven’t retained as much as I would like!
